About

THE SWEDISH GLOBAL HEALTH RESEARCH CONFERENCE 2018: How can Sweden contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals? From research to action.

In the era of the Sustainable Development Goals and in an increasingly globalized world, global health is a key area for research, education, and practice. We invite you to take part in the Swedish Global Health Research Conference: How can Sweden contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals? From Research to Action.

Through panels and interactive workshops, we will explore global health research. The conference is a platform for everyone who wants to learn more about the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and discuss how they through their studies, research and work can contribute to its fulfillment.

Recognising that we all can contribute and improve the health of the world, the Global Health Research Conference welcomes everyone with an interest in global health, ranging from students, active researchers, and colleagues interested in starting global health research. The conference aims to stimulate cooperation across disciplines and generations.

The conference is organized by the Swedish Society of Medicine in cooperation with the following partners and collaborating organizations:

Karolinska Institutet • Lund University • Linköpings University
Umeå University • University of Gothenburg • Uppsala University
Örebro University • SIGHT, Swedish Institute for Global Health Transformation • The Einhorn Family Foundation • Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs • IFMSA-Sweden • Swedish Society of Medicines Student and Junior Doctors Section • Swedish Network for International Health • Swedish Organisation for Global Health
